C. frutescens
The classification of C. frutescens is still controversial. Some botanists assign it to C. chinense, while others regard it as a subspecies of C. chinense. The race has not yet been decided. As with all Capsicum, it originated in South America.
The best-known plant is certainly the Tabasco. These plants are somewhat more difficult to grow. A good harvest can often only be expected in the second year. I have not grown this plant myself and do not want to make any judgments.
I only use fruits of any kind without green parts and without seeds. As all C. frutescens have relatively small fruits, I do not expect to grow them.
