Soft skin mites

Among many types of mites, the soft skin mites are the most unpleasant. They are so small that you can hardly see them. They love high humidity. They are usually found in flowers or on fresh shoots. Leaves and flowers are disturbed in their development, the leaf edges curl up. Buds do not open, leaves are bent upwards.

Control is very difficult and usually almost hopeless with biological means. Severe pruning with additional chemical treatment is essential.
